Time: 6:30 AM(No same day registration)
Race start: 7:00 AM(1 Mile Fun Run for chiildren at 8:00 a.m.)
Location: Draper City Park, 12500 South 1300 East.
Draper Days 2011 5K Race

If your a casual runner and want to take your training to the next level, the 5K is a great race to give you confidence as a runner and drastically increase your fitness level. The best part is, the Draper Days 5K race is accessible to all fitness types and age levels.

5K Suggestions: Think of your training as a pyramid that takes several months to build. You have to first start at the bottom by building a large, strong base. This is done by getting as many miles into your legs as possible ... think about it as the opposite of your cars odometer. So, for the first few weeks concentrate on building endurance by gradually building up how many miles at a time your comfortable running. Ideally you should want to get to at least 10 miles for your long runs.
