Draper Idol Competition

Date: July 7th (Idol Jr.) and 15th (Idol)

Rehearsal Time:
July 6th - Tuesday 5:00-7:00 pm for Jr. division/7:00-9:00 pm for 16 and up

Competition Time:
Jr. Idol July 7th, 7:00 PM
Idol July 15th, 7:00 PM

Location: Summit Academy Jr. High School Auditorium, 1285 East 13200 South, Draper, UT 84020

Auditions: Participants for the Draper Jr. Idol (12-15 years old) and Draper Idol (16 and up) need to email leslie.johnson@q.com the following information: Name/Age/Email address/Phone number/Home address/the 2 selection(s) you plan to perform (Jr. division is one selection). There's still time to sign up for Draper Idol! Submit your information by July 12th!

There will not be preliminary auditions this year. The rehearsal on July 6th is mandatory to give you a chance to run through your piece on stage. You will need to bring your accompaniment CD (minus track) to the rehearsal unless you are accompanying yourself on the piano or guitar. Idol Prizes
Winner - $150.00
1st Runner Up - $100.00
2nd Runner Up - $75.00

Jr. Idol Prizes
Winner - $50.00
1st Runner Up - $25.00
2nd Runner Up - $25.00

Draper Idol Winners will have the opportunity to perform the National Anthem at the Rodeo on the 10th and 11th of July, and also will be able to perform on the Main Stage Fri. and Sat. night (July 17th and 18th) at 6:00 pm before the main entertainment.
